The VA and other agencies run dozens of initiatives that veterans qualify for but rarely hear about — because there's no budget for outreach, no one told your VSO, or the program is buried three clicks deep on a government website. The Uniformed Services Former Spouses' Protection Act (USFSPA) governs how military retirement pay is divided in divorce.
